Shelter Pet Alliance is a not-for-profit organization whose goal is to assist animal shelters and rescue groups throughout the United States by: *Promoting adoptions of sheltered dogs and cats through community adoption events and publicity campaigns. *Improving the quality of life of sheltered animals. *Providing financial and other assistance to animal shelters to renovate, repair, or build facilities that ensure humane housing conditions. *Providing financial or other assistance to ensure that animals in need receive adequate veterinary care. *Promoting public awareness of sheltered animals and encouraging humane education and volunteerism.
