Cause Description:
Salsa Libre is a Latin dancing club/team that represents Cal State University Northridge in state competitions. Our club is comprised of approximately 50 dancers each year and we are excited for the upcoming year. Salsa Libre is the largest college salsa team, we are two time champions and have placed top 5 in all competitions. Salsa Libre has traveled throughout California to perform at multiple International Festivals for dancers from around the world. Club member costs can add up; traveling costs, yearly dues, competition fees, and costumes to name a few. We do not want any student to be denied this amazing opportunity to perform because of financial issues. Please consider donating to help us achieve our goals. Our students are passionate about this club and by supporting us you will also support the performing arts in schools, which tend to be disregarded.
