Epilepsy is an incurable disorder but knowledge and resources make it manageable. Discrimination is the disability and we are the cure. Vision Statement: Our vision is to turn obstacles into newfound opportunities. Collecting a paycheck based on abilities, planning a family, buying a house, and having friends shouldn't be dreams. Founded: In 1997 Paulette Motzko is the founder and catalyst behind The Epilepsy Connection. She sees life through the perspective of one who has been dubbed a hopeless epileptic. We are the positive connection to the right people, information and resources those with epilepsy need most. The founder was once a child with epilepsy, now an adult and knows firsthand the issues those with this misunderstood disorder.
