Cause Description:
We help women make a successful transition from jail/prison for nonviolent crimes. We advocate for restorative justice and for supervised, alternative sentencing--especially for women with dependent children. We advocate on behalf of the children of incarcerated parents. Nationally, women return to prison 73% within first year. Our program has less than 10% returning to jail/prison.
