Cause Description:
The main purpose of 3rd Coast Sanctuary is to rescue wild horses and burros from potential slaughter and horrible living conditions. Our goal is to raise funds via social media to help promote the fight against the extinction of our iconic American Mustangs, along with the need to save all horses from abuse, slaughter and inhumane conditions. We not only “save a horse” we also save any animal that we possibly can. Funds raised will be used to purchase horses and burros from kill pens and transport them to safety, including their possible long- term feed and care at our facility. We will also use funds to continue to educate the public on what is happening to the American Mustang, a symbol of America. We are of the opinion that horses are not food and that every animal should be in a safe, loving environment and go to bed with a full belly.
