Cause Description:
At An Nasr Religious Advocacy, our primary objective is to facilitate inmate needs for practicing their faiths while ensuring that facility administrators are able to meet the security requirements for the safe operation of their facilities. To accomplish this objective, we intimately work alongside Chaplains to provide a wide range of products and services to both institutions (jails and prisons) and the incarcerated populations. The target audience for An Nasr Religious Advocacy is individuals (and their families) that are currently incarcerated and encountering difficulties receiving accommodations or supplies to properly practice their faiths. Specifically, we specialize in Eastern faiths including (but not limited to)Taoism, Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Our products and services are available to all faiths, but we find that the greatest need of advocacy is within faiths of non-Western prevalence.
