Harper Continuum Dance Theatre is a modern dance company founded by Heather Harper in 2008, becoming a registered 501(c)3 in 2017. Harper Continuum Dance Theatre works are an amalgamation of movement styles. The company's repertoire includes interdisciplinary collaborations, nontraditional approaches to dance, and site- specific performances. Heather Harper's (Founder & Artistic Director) choreographic style encompasses varying stylistic design choices and technical elements throughout the creative process. Thus, making her work reach nontraditional dance audiences. Heather Harper is not afraid to take risks. Her work is innovative, unexpected, and passionate. She creates work allowing her dancers the creative freedom to bring themselves and their own experiences to the movement while creating a more raw experience for the audience. Her choreography is a fusion of movement styles while often being emotionally driven. She showcases her dancers' athleticism and diverse backgrounds while encouraging their growth through her work. Our Mission: Harper Continuum Dance Theatre is committed to creating artful dance performances while expanding dance to a broader audience. Harper Continuum Dance Theatre unites members of the community by bringing people together and embracing them beyond the stage and through site-specific performances.
