Currently donations received by LHF here will support Voices for Freedom, our fiscally sponsored documentary film on the Hyers Sisters (late 1800's opera divas -- first to create an American musical). Donations are Tax Deductible. LHF is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to supporting projects and professional artists that celebrate unsung African American arts and unsung women of note. For example, we can support projects and professional artists who present black classical music or accurate stage, print, and media depictions of the lives of African-American "heroines"-- such as The Hyers Sisters or Mary Ellen Pleasant (Mother of Civil Rights in California) -- those who've made great, but unrecognized, contributions to us all.
