Maryland Horse Rescue strives to become a "safety net" to help keep horses from going to auction/slaughter. We help horses that become caught up in human problems such as divorce, loss of job, illness of person or horse, death of family member or financial problems, etc. We are a 100% volunteer and donation organization - there is no one on the payroll and to date we have never refused to help a horse in some fashion. At times we will provide educational information to allow a loved horse to stay with their family, or bring a horse into the organization if they can not stay with the family. We desperately need funds to be able to continue to help the abused, neglected and unwanted horses that come to us for help. Our website is www.MDHorseRescue.net
