The Sacramento Tree Foundation is dedicated to improving the community in which we live, work and play by inspiring people to plant and protect a healthy urban forest. Our vision is to increase our communities understanding of their urban forest, and their responsibility and involvement for its health and benefits. We define the urban forest as " the canopy above and the ecology of your neighborhood." Our programs are educational and inspirational in the art, joy and science of trees and the urban forest. We teach environmental stewardship at the local level, home by home, block by block, neighborhood by neighborhood.
