Cause Description:
D.C.'s Different Drummers is the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area's Lesbian and Gay Symphonic Band, Swing Band, Marching Band, and Pep Band. In addition to creating fine music, our goals are to have fun, play with pride, work together, and educate others. Although we have differing backgrounds, experiences, talents and abilities, we share the goal of excellence in music. As a volunteer community musical organization, we have in our ranks professional musicians, music students, former members of the top military bands, and individuals whose last musical performances date back to their high school or college days.
