Cause Description:
Abandoned Angels, Inc. is a non-profit New York corporation with pending 501(c)(3) status. We are dedicated to the rescue and re-homing of cocker spaniels and other dogs in need of loving forever homes. We will not reject any dog due to age or health and accept many dogs who have some temperament and/or medical issues. Given our limited resources, we give priority to cocker spaniels and other dogs in local kill shelters who are in danger of being destroyed. We accept owner surrenders on a space available basis. Each of our dogs has been spayed or neutered, is up to date with vaccinations and has been vetted prior to adoption. A dog is truly the best friend you will ever have. A dog's love is unconditional, his forgiveness boundless and his trust and belief in his people unmatched. It is truly humbling to walk in the company of such angels, particularly when that love, forgiveness and trust have been betrayed prior to coming to rescue.
