Cause Description:
The Jeffco Action Center has been providing emergency services to residents of Jefferson County, Colorado since 1968. The Action Center has a food bank, clothing bank, and 22-bed shelter. The organization also distributes limited financial assistance for rent and utilities, gives medical assistance, and has a tenant/landlord counseling office to help both tenants and landlords understand their rights under Colorado law. The Action Center serves over 40,000 people each year.
