Freckles' Friends Pet Shelter, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization established to build a no-kill animal shelter in DeKalb County, TN. In addition, we are aggressively promoting spay/neuter assistance programs to reduce pet over-population. Our motto is "No-Birth is the 1st Step to No-Kill." We are in a very rural community with no pet shelter for county residents. A shelter is desperately needed to provide a safe, nurturing environment for homeless pets until a permanent home can be found. We will not euthanize any adoptable pet. We are currently doing our best to help find homes for pets that need a permanent home through offering free courtesy listings and lost and found listings at www.frecklestn.org.
