The SPCHS is a 501(c)(3) no-kill non-profit shelter located in Long Beach, WA and is 100% Supported and Funded by the Community. Without the support of the community and our volunteers, we could not exist. The SPCHS is an independent, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization. All funding is by private and Corporate donations. No funding is received from Federal or national animal welfare organizations. We depend upon the tax-deductible donations of our generous community and our caring and dedicated volunteers. Our Mission is to protect animals that are unable to speak for themselves, by providing compassionate care and placement for homeless pets without the need for euthanasia. Our Vision is to foster positive relationships between animals and people and to help end pet overpopulation through community outreach, involving the promotion of effective spay/neuter programs, and humane education.
