Cause Description:
FGCAS is made up of volunteers who are dedicated to change at our local county animal shelter. It is our mission to reduce the high rate of euthanasia there. We believe this is a very obtainable goal and need your help to reach it. We promote the animals at the shelter, work with the animals to help make them more adoptable and need your support for massive Shelter reform on their policies toward allowing reputable rescues to rescue dogs and cats that are otherwise euthanized. All monies raised will go straight to animal and Shelter related needs such as leashes, shampoo, toys, collars, treats, bedding, food, flea prevention and urgent animal adoption fees. No money collected will be used to "pay" volunteers as we are strictly that: volunteers, doing what we can because we truly care.
