The MdDS Foundation educates both medical professionals and the public about Mal de Debarquement syndrome. One of our main goals is to raise money to fund research to find a cause and a treatment for the syndrome. This syndrome is characterized by a person feeling a constant sensation of rocking, swaying, or bobbing, usually after a motion experience such as a cruise, plane flight, train or car trip. Some cases are not associated with a known motion trigger. This syndrome can last for years.
