Cause Description:
RUNAWAY AND TEEN CRISIS PROGRAM Our Runaway and Teen Crisis Program provides temporary shelter and/or crisis counseling to youth ages 11-17 who are experiencing family or other problems. Often these teens have run away or are homeless. Our Transitional Living Program provides transient or homeless youth 16-21 years old with a home environment, as well as various other services which are aimed to prepare youth for independent living. The Nurturing Program helps both parents and teens to better understand their own needs and feelings as well as the needs and feelings of others. We work to replace negative and punitive actions with more caring and nurturing behaviors. We also provide positive ways to resolve conflict, reduce stress, develop family rules, and have fun.
