The National Campaign for Freedom of Expression is an educational and advocacy network of artists, arts organizations, audience members and concerned citizens formed to protect and extend freedom of artstic expression and fight censorship throughout the United States. The Campaign’s work reflects the understanding that true democracy is dependant on the right to free expression for all, including those censored due to racism, sexism, homophobia, and all other forms of invidious discrimination. the National Campaign for Freedom of Expression is the only nationwide organization exclusively dedicated to challenging the erosion of First Amendment rights as applied to the support, presentation and creation of the arts in our culture today.
