Cause Description:
AniMeals is a 501(c) (3) non-profit and exists as a Food Bank for animals and a No-Kill Adoption Center. • We supplement the food needs of the animals in the care of shelters & rescue groups, pets of the homebound/disabled, caregivers of feral cat colonies and animals living on the street. We additionally aid shelters and down on their luck citizens who own horses, cattle and farm/ranch animals in need of food and supplements. • We have saved the lives of over 600 animals and sent out over 185.5 tons of pet food to date (July 2010). • We distribute more than 7500 pounds of pet food per month. • We help all of Western Montana and cover approximately 50,000 square miles, from Troy down to Dillon. • We are supported entirely from generous donations of animal lovers everywhere. A strong network of volunteers, doing everything from deliveries to daily office work, is the backbone of this organization. • 100% of donations go to help animals.
