The New Jersey Folk Festival is a 501(c)-3 non-profit organization dedicated to documenting, preserving, and presenting the cultural traditions and folk arts of the Garden State. Since 1975, the NJFF has produced an annual folk life festival, which is free to the public and draws over 10,000 attendees. Based out of the American Studies Department of Rutgers University and administered by undergraduates, the NJFF offers unique leadership opportunities for students wishing to pursue a career in folk life, festival administration, or museum studies.
