Cause Description:
Home of Hope was once a home for orphan infants run by the mission hospital in Nyadire, Zimbabwe. With growing numbers of abandoned and neglected children due to the prevalence of HIV/AIDS, the hospital became overburdened. A missionary, Rut Lindgren, with help from her government of Finland, transformed the home into the current orphanage, Home of Hope. Mission: To upgrade the health status of children in the orphanage and the over 300 children in its vicinity. To educate and empower the orphaned and disadvantaged children around the mission and beyond.
