BRI is a private not-for-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of historic architecture and old neighborhoods in Bloomington and Monroe County. We rescue endangered historic buildings and properties through our Endangered Historic Properties Program. We help provide affordable housing to lower middle income families in restored historic homes, or new homes that fit in an historic neighborhood, through our Affordable Housing Program. We restore and maintain the grounds and historic farmhouse of the Hinkle-Garton Farmstead.
