TBHRR is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, rehoming, raising awareness, and educating the public concerning domesticated house rabbits. The mission of TBHRR is to promote respect, kindness, and compassion for domesticated rabbits as companion animals that should be afforded at least the same individual rights, level of care, and opportunity for longevity as commonly afforded to dogs and cats who live as human companions. The objectives of TBHRR are to prevent cruelty to animals, to promote animal welfare, to educate the public about the humane care and treatment of domestic rabbits, to increase public awareness of the companion animal overpopulation issue and to provide solutions, and to provide high quality shelter, medical, and adoption services for house rabbits.
