Cause Description:
The Piney Grove Baptist Church hosts an annual Fall Festival for Halloween. It is not only open to church members, but to the entire community for free. We are in the heart of Tuscaloosa in a place known as Alberta City, a fairly low income area still building from the 2011 tornado. Parents are always looking for a safe place where their kids can have fun and Piney Grove is that place. We provide games, prizes, and free food-pizza, nachos, hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and funnel cakes are a hot item! And we always end with Trunk-or-Treat or a parade through Candyland. It is difficult for a church our size to provide all of this free for approximately 500 kids, but we do the best we can. It would be a blessing for us if you could give to our cause for our kids!
