Cause Description:
To help to fill wish lists for Special Education teachers and therapists…buying weighted vests that cost over $100, fill technology needs with software and computers, assistive devices for speech and more. We have always been 100% Volunteer-ran with no salaries paid. ONF Piece of Mind initiative ?Our focus with this project is to provide each family impacted by autism the resources needed to make their life a little easier...this is includes safety for runners, tracking measures, swim lessons and more to come. Kick with Nick is now the largest autism-based soccer league in Southern California...it has grown year over year and has been a joy to watch. We have partnered with the City of Temecula to provide Special Needs Swimming Lessons. This typically takes place during the Summer, but we are looking at additional private lesson options going forward. Walk in the Vines for Autism in May...helps families by allowing them to form teams that help their individual cause..."create a team dedicated to an individual with Autism or a special needs classroom and 75% of the net proceeds from your team's fundraising efforts go directly back to your needs..." And there is much more but I don't know how much I can type here...was founded in 2005.
