Friends of Mount Sinai Monastery (the Corporation) is organized and operated exclusively for religious and educational purposes in accord with Sec. 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or a corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue law). The specific purpose of this corporation is to provide support and financial assistance to St. Catherine’s Monastery in Mt. Sinai—a center of ancient Christian spirituality whose spiritual, cultural, and educational contribution to world civilization over the past seventeen centuries is unparalleled, both through preserving its heritage as living tradition and sharing it with the global society. In the process of providing support, the Corporation will also be a resource for those seeking information about St. Catherine’s Monastery.
