Louisiana Health and Rehab Center, Inc. (LHRC) is a 501 (c) 3 CARF accredited private non-profit founded in 2000 to provide quality residential substance abuse treatment services to women recovering from addictions and their dependent children ages 0-12 at LHRC-Reality House, The agency has grown in size and scope and is presently comprised of LHRC-Pocahontas House which is a residential treatment program for males and female adults with co-occurring disorders to include substance use disorder, mental illness, homelessness, and HIV/AIDS; and LHRC Life Care Center which is and Outpatient Substance Abuse Clinic. In 2014, LHRC-Reality House was chosen as the Outstanding Program of the Year by the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals/Office of Behavioral Health. It is the mission of LHRC to provide quality comprehensive residential and community based services to assist the people we serve to become productive, self sufficient, contributing members of our society.
