Cause Description:
Operation Brotherhood is a non profit charitable organization designed to establish and develop comradery in the veteran community with the goal of eliminating veteran suicide. Operation Brotherhood was established as a nonprofit charitable organization through the vision of Jason Wyman, a U.S. Army combat veteran. Suicide has taken too many veterans and the numbers are staggering. Each officer and board member has experience losing someone to suicide and this is dear to our hearts. Many veterans are committing a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Operation Brotherhood will mitigate this by creating opportunities for veterans of all wars to network and build the comradery we once had while serving this country and her citizens. By giving these heroes space where they can be who they have become, we are giving them the chance to feel NORMAL; veterans all just want to feel normal. Our fundraising efforts will assist in our continuous effort to support the mission of our organization which is to prevent military veterans of combat, first responders and those that are suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder from suicide. Our goal is to unify our communities by supporting those that sacrifice for our way of life.
