Madelyn Bell, a 15 year old cellist, has been selected by the Honors Performance Series to perform at Carnegie Hall in February. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will not only give her a chance to pursue her dreams, but to also represent South Carolina alongside the best high school musicians that the world has to offer. In attending this, she will receive experience as a professional musician that will help her in the future as well as improve the cultural awareness in our county. However, this will be an expensive trip. Any proceeds will go to cover tuition and travel expenses.
