ARF was founded in 1971 as a non-profit, non-destroy shelter. Since then, ARF has been staffed exclusively by volunteers. Every animal taken into ARF has a safe place until forever home is found. Unfortunately, ARF's shelter was damaged beyond repair by fire in in 2008. After much time and dedication by all of our volunteers and the public, ARF has raised enough money to build its own state-of-the-art shelter to help countless homeless pets
