Grounded in senior leadership, We Are Family mobilizes a committed corps of volunteers, to serve over 700 seniors each month with free groceries, advocacy, visits, transportation, referrals and more. We serve the North Capitol St., Columbia Heights, Petworth, Adams Morgan, and Shaw neighborhoods of Washington DC. Our volunteers range in age from elementary school students to senior citizens.
