About Us: Community Compass is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization that exists to respond to local housing issues, provide access to community resources and improve the lives of individuals by providing educational opportunities. The mission of Community Compass is to embrace those in need with love by offering programs and services to build a stronger and healthier community. It is the vision of this organization that everyone that needs compassion will receive the support they need when help is needed the most. The focus areas of community and economic development include but are not limited to the following areas: • Affordable Housing & Homelessness Prevention • Food Pantry & Clothing Center • Life Skills Development & Community Education History: Community Compass, who is affiliated with the Church of Grace and Peace located in Toms River, New Jersey, works in harmony with the church to ensure that the needs of the community are met. Community Compass acts as gauge to respond to social challenges especially as situations that pertain to the homeless, the disadvantaged, families or individuals in crisis, and anyone struggling through life with no support services to assist them through difficult times. Our community development programs are open to the public and no one is excluded from receiving assistance regardless of their religious beliefs, income status, race and/or any other reason.
