Cause Description:
SoGal is the largest global platform for the education and empowerment of diverse entrepreneurs and investors. Our mission is to close the diversity gap in entrepreneurship and venture capital. SoGal was built on intersectional diversity and inclusion at the forefront of all of our initiatives. In order to fuel the future of the US and global economies, creation of a level playing field is core to SoGal’s mission of redefining the next generation of founders and funders. Through hyper- local micro-communities paired with thought leadership and comprehensive media, SoGal has influenced more than 100,000 entrepreneurs through over 350 educational community initiatives to date. Our volunteer team is based in 40 cities globally and we expand to at least one new ecosystem each month, making a thoughtful and measurable impact on the diversity gap, both within these local communities and at large. All contributions made would be dedicated to supporting, expanding, and scaling our educational programming and connecting our communities to the global SoGal network. SoGal continues to scale, expand our network, and establish strategic educational programming focusing on entrepreneurship, investing, and holistic mental health with the goal to impact the diversity gap both locally and internationally.
