Cause Description:
A 501(c)3 humane and educational public charity dedicated to the domestic pet ferret. F.A.C.T. operates a no-kill shelter and provdes permanent foster care for unadoptable ferrets. Our premise is that an informed ferret owner is better able to provide appropriate care for their pet is inherent in our no cost informational brochures and low-cost care classes. Since it's inception in 1991, FACT has taken in and placed over 500 ferrets in adoptive or foster homes. Veterinary care for ferrets in our foster program is financed by FACT through "foster grandparent" sponsors throughout the US and from several foreign countries.
