Grupo Folklorico Mexcaltitan was formed by a group of young members eager to express their culture and make a difference in their community. Our repertoire includes original dances investigated in the communities of the indigenous peoples of Mexico, ranging from the South to the North of the Mexican Republic, compounds autotoctonas dances and dances from different regions of the country with the intention of rescuing our authentic Mexican traditions. The objective of Grupo Folklorico Mexcaltitan has been to diffuse the culture, history and traditions of Mexico through the use of music and traditional dances. Every region, music, and costumes that are added to our repertoire have been carefully investigated by our directo/founder.
