Camp Can Do

Cause Description:
Imagine that, for one week, a child with cancer can truly be free. Free of inhibitions. Free of strange looks and questions. Free of hospitals, and free of worry. Free to simply be a kid. That’s what Camp Can Do is all about. We provide a safe, fun, rewarding camp experience for children currently in treatment, along with those who are post-treatment. Campers enjoy a wide variety of daily activities, special evening events, and even a day at Hershey Park, all while being surrounded by others who have been through the same life experiences. Our campers participate in all of the fun activities that are offered at summer camps everywhere, with the additional security and support of a full-time medical staff. We make every necessary accommodation so that no child misses out on being a part of our Camp Can Do family
