Cause Description:
We are the PowerStackers, a FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team. FTC is one of four programs in the FIRST Organization (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). FIRST was founded by Dean Kamen, and FTC is a global non-profit program for 13 to 18 year olds to help their understanding of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Kids get a lot of hands-on learning in the field of robotics. By participating in FTC, students are encouraged to participate in math and science, while expanding their knowledge in the fields of computer programming, engineering, and business.
