Intercommunity Ministry Volunteer Program

Cause Description:
IMVP is a volunteer opportunity created by nine communities of Women Religious on the West Coast. Volunteers work with Sisters who are in direct service with and to those who are poor and marginalized and are supported in these ministries by community living, faith sharing and prayer. These ministries work with migrant families and families in poverty. Their works also include emergency and permanent housing for families, food and clothing banks, adult literacy programs, peace and justice education, etc. There are over twenty ministry sites in the U.S., South America, and England.
