Any pet at any time can become homeless. There is a severe overpopulation of pets in USA. The number one reason why they die is not cancer, heart disease, it is euthanasia. Shelters kill homeless pets because there is a lack of housing or funds. Most people do not want to adopt a pet at an animal shelter because they would rather have a puppy. Save Animals in Shelters is a 501(c)(3) national charity within USA who is saving homeless pets everyday. We pull homeless pets out of animal shelters and place them in Rescues or loving homes.
